What is in Brianne's camera bag?
Usually I have the following things in my camera bag:
- A few lenses
- Back-up battery
- Battery chargers
- Little lady bug that goes on lens: this helps the little ones and pets to look at the camera
- Business cards
- Lens cleaner
- And a few more things
Some of these items are little things and some are essential to photography.
Of course, I bring more items to a photo session than just my camera bag. These things are different with each session. It may be a sign, chair, chalkboard, etc.

When planning a photo session, I always ask, Is there a place that means a lot to you?
Here's why I ask that question:
I am capturing memories and little moments should be captured in an area that is already memorable or will be! To me, the power of photography is when the little moments are captured forever!
Secondly, photo sessions are meant to be personalized! There are many ways to personalize a photo session. Whether they are personalized with the location, props, etc. My goal is to capture amazing memories for you and make it personal. This way it will be more memorable!
Now, if there is not a location in mind, I give a list of great locations and we find the best one to fit you!
Below, there are some photos taken at different locations. The photos include the following locations (I do take photos in Michigan and Wisconsin), my Personal Property, Clients House, Mosquito Hill, Rotary Park, New London Dog Park, and the Sturgeon Trail. Check some out for some location ideas on your next photo session!

Everyone needs to start their Monday out the right way and prepare themselves for the week to come. This fantastic post series is all about how to motivate yourself! This is only part one and there will be another part next Monday!
I will give you tips and let you know what I do in this first post! The second part of this post has a lot to do with quotes.
Lets get to it!
When I have a day to get business work done, I get up early and start my morning with a great breakfast! I make my to-do list for the day and give a time limit to the task. Check out the Organize blog post to see all the apps I use and how to organize myself throughout the day! After I do my to-do list, I take a little break. During this break I usually design quote images to share or catch up with social media while listening to some music. Check out the song “Can’t stop the feeling” that will get you moving here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5RobDomh5U Sometimes I go for a walk or spend sometime outside. That gives me time to get ready and gather myself for the day. I recommend that you find something for yourself to get going for the day.
What do you do to stay motivated? Did this post help you? Are you looking forward to part two of monday Motivation?
